Indications

Onoprim is a traditional herbal medicine used to relieve alterations in the day-night rhythm, such as sleep disorders also caused by shift work or jet lag, after the doctor has ruled out any serious underlying pathologies.

Composition

10 g (= 10.3 ml) of «Onoprim» contain:

1 g of liquid extract of Onopordon acanthium L., flos rec. (fresh flowers of onopordon tomentosum; drug-solvent ratio DSR 1:3.1); Extraction solvent: 99 parts ethanol 26% m/m and 1 part liquid extract of Hyoscyamus niger L., herba rec. (fresh henbane herb; drug-extract ratio DER 1:2, extraction solvent ethanol 86% m/m); 1 g liquid extract of Primula veris L., flos rec. (fresh cowslip flowers; drug-solvent ratio DSR 1:3.1); Extraction solvent: 99 parts ethanol 26% m/m and 1 part liquid extract of Hyoscyamus niger L., herba rec. (fresh henbane herb; DER extract drug ratio 1:2, extraction solvent ethanol 86% m/m).

Directions for use and dosage

Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: it is recommended to take 15-20 drops, 1-3 times a day, diluted in water. It is important to shake the bottle before use and take the drops preferably before meals. The duration of treatment may vary depending on the clinical picture, from a few days up to a maximum of 4 weeks. If symptoms do not improve within 14 days, it is advisable to consult a doctor.

Warnings

Precordial pain radiating to the upper limbs, neck or epigastric area, dyspnea or edema in the lower limbs necessarily require medical evaluation.

Contraindications
