Product Description

Lubricating laxative indicated in cases of constipation.

Indications

Tre Oli by Olcelli Farmaceutici is indicated in cases of occasional constipation or in the post-surgical period in order to keep stools soft and reduce the effort of defecation. The product coats the intestinal walls and fecal material, facilitating its transit within the intestinal tract.

Composition

Liquid paraffin (Vaseline Oil), Sweet Almond Oil and Olive Oil in equal parts.

Directions for use and Dosage

Shake the bottle before use. Take at least 2 hours before or after meals.
Preferably take in the evening at least one hour before bedtime.

Adults and adolescents: 2-3 tablespoons (30-45 ml) taken in a single dose.

Children 6 to 12 years (only after consulting your doctor): 2-3 teaspoons (10-15 ml) taken in a single dose.

Do not use for more than 7 days. For longer periods of time, consult your doctor.

Warnings

Do not use the product in case of:

• Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients;
• Nausea, vomiting, acute or unknown abdominal pain;
• Intestinal obstruction or stenosis;
• Disorders affecting the gastrointestinal tract such as appendicitis, diverticulitis, ulcerative colitis, rectal bleeding of unknown origin;
• Acute hemorrhoidal crisis with pain and bleeding;
• Severe dehydration;
• Subjects with difficulty swallowing or who have pathologies (e.g. hiatal hernia) or conditions (e.g. debilitated subjects confined to bed) that involve the risk of regurgitation;
• Colostomy/Ileostomy;
• Children under the age of 6 years;
• In pregnant and breastfeeding women;
• Concomitant use of other laxatives or stool softeners.

Storage

In a tightly closed bottle, in a cool place, away from heat sources and protected from light. The expiry date refers to the product in its intact packaging, stored correctly.
