Indications

Medical device with laxative action which, through an osmotic action, regulates the intestine naturally.
It is neither absorbed nor fermented in the intestine, does not irritate the mucosa and is eliminated in the feces in an unchanged form.
It is indicated for the treatment of constipation.
Thanks to its affinity for water, Fisiopax Adults softens the stool, facilitating evacuation without causing cramps or abdominal pain, nor emergency conditions.
Its effectiveness does not decrease over time.
Without flavors and electrolytes.
Improved palatability.

Components

Each sachet contains: 10 g of Makropur, a purified macrogol 3350.
Gluten-free.
Lactose-free.

Directions for use

Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, it is advisable to use Fisiopax Adults according to the following instructions.
Adults: 1 to 3 sachets per day. The dose may be increased or decreased depending on the individual response to treatment. In any case, it is advisable to consult your doctor.
The maximum necessary dose does not normally exceed 30 g of product per day.
Dissolve one sachet (10 g) in approximately 1 glass of water (approximately 125 ml). It is possible to dissolve the product in a liquid other than water (tea, milk, broth, or fruit juice).
The daily dose can be divided into several administrations.

Warnings

Keep the device and any solution obtained out of the reach of children.
Do not use the device after the expiry date shown on the package.
Do not use if the package is damaged.
Do not exceed the recommended dose under any circumstances: in case of overdose, intense pain and abdominal distension may occur. Induced diarrhea may also occur, with electrolyte disturbances caused by possible excessive evacuation. In case of suspected overdose, contact your doctor immediately.
Do not use Fisiopax Adulti for more than 30 consecutive days. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
During treatment with Fisiopax Adulti, it is advisable to follow an appropriate diet, accompanied by the administration of an oral rehydration solution (ORS) to avoid dehydration. However, it is advisable to consult your doctor.
Gastrointestinal disturbances (abdominal pain, borborygmi, diarrhea, or loose stools) may appear, especially in the initial phase of use, as well as nausea, mild vomiting, abdominal distension, flatulence, perianal inflammation and irritation. These effects normally improve by reducing the dose.
Allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis, have been observed very rarely. Other symptoms of an allergic reaction such as itching, hives, and dyspnea.
If side effects persist, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor.
Do not use on children under 6 months of age.
If pregnant or breastfeeding, take Fisiopax Adults only after consulting your doctor.
The device is not recommended in cases of: intestinal perforation or obstruction due to structural or functional disorders of the intestinal wall, ileus, severe inflammatory diseases of the intestinal tract, such as Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, and toxic megacolon.
Do not use in the presence of known gastric or intestinal lesions.
Each sachet is for single use only and must be opened only before use.
Do not take the medical device while using other devices or oral medicinal products: the osmotic power of macrogol and the induced increase in the speed of gastrointestinal transit may negatively affect their efficacy. In any case, consult your doctor before taking Fisiopax Adults if you are currently taking other therapies.
To date, no interactions with drugs are known, but it is advisable to take the product at least two hours after taking any oral medications.

Storage

Store the intact package in a dry place, away from direct light or heat. Store the device below 25°C.
Shelf life in the intact package: 36 months.
