Product Description

Dietary food for special medical purposes for infants with cow's milk protein allergy. Indicated after the 6th month up to the 12th month.

Indications

Mellin Polilat 2 must be used only under the supervision of a pediatrician. The product cannot be used as the sole source of nutrition. The product must not be used parenterally.

It is a follow-on dietary food for special medical purposes for the dietary regime of infants with cow's milk protein allergies. Mellin Polilat 2 is based on extensively hydrolyzed whey proteins.

Composition

Maltodextrin, hydrolyzed whey protein concentrate (from milk), vegetable oils (palm oil, rapeseed oil with low erucic acid content, coconut oil, sunflower seed oil, oil extracted from Mortierella alpina), galacto-oligosaccharides (from milk) powder (8.46%), tricalcium phosphate, emulsifiers: esterified mono- and diglycerides of citric acid, fructo-oligosaccharides (0.60%), fish oil, potassium chloride, sodium chloride, magnesium hydrogen phosphate, calcium carbonate, choline chloride, trisodium citrate, L-ascorbic acid, taurine, sodium L-ascorbate, iron sulphate, inositol, DL-α-tocopheryl acetate, zinc sulphate, Uridine 5'-monophosphate sodium salt, cytidine 5'-monophosphate, L-carnitine, adenosine 5'-monophosphate, inosine 5'-monophosphate sodium salt, nicotinamide, calcium D-pantothenate, guanosine 5'-monophosphate sodium salt, D-biotin, copper sulfate, folic acid, retinyl palmitate, DL-α-tocopherol, riboflavin, cyanocobalamin, thiamine hydrochloride, cholecalciferol, pyridoxine hydrochloride, potassium iodide, manganese sulfate, phytomenadione, sodium selenite.

Directions for use and dosage

Before preparation, wash your hands and sterilize the bottle, teat, and ring. Boil the required amount of water and pour it into the bottle at a temperature of at least 50°C. To obtain a well-leveled measuring spoon after filling, remove excess powder using a well-washed kitchen knife. Add level measuring spoons of powder following the instructions in the average feeding table. Close the bottle and shake it to dissolve the powder. Cool the bottle by placing it under running water so that the milk reaches a temperature of approximately 40°C. Before giving it to the infant, check the temperature on your wrist.

It is recommended to prepare the milk only at feeding time and to consume it within half an hour. Do not heat or boil the milk once prepared. Do not reuse any leftover milk. Use only the measuring spoon provided in the package.

Once opened, the package must be resealed properly and stored in a cool, dry place (not in the refrigerator). Consume within one month of opening.

Warnings

Follow the instructions carefully: inadequate preparation and use could pose a risk to the infant's health.
