Powdered food for special medical purposes, with a thickened formula specifically designed to meet the nutritional needs of children from 0 to 36 months in case of gastroesophageal reflux.

Indications

Novalac Reflux PRO contains an exclusive blend of thickeners that combines the qualities of starch and dietary fiber and helps minimize regurgitation.
The protein source of Novalac Reflux PRO is cow's milk proteins. In case of allergies, premature birth, low birth weight or immunodeficiency, consult your doctor.

Important: Novalac Reflux PRO can be the sole source of nutrition for the child up to the age of 6 months if breastfeeding is not possible. Subsequently, and on the advice of a doctor, Novalac Reflux PRO should be integrated into the child's varied diet. Novalac Reflux PRO must be used under medical supervision and only in infants who exhibit the symptoms for which the product is indicated.
The formula should not be changed without consulting a doctor.
Breast milk is the best food for infants.
If breast milk is not possible or is not sufficient, infant formula may be used only after medical advice.
Inadequate preparation and storage of any infant formula could pose a health risk.

Directions for use and Dosage

Wash your hands before preparing the bottle. Always use your hands.
1. Clean and sterilize the bottle, teat, and all materials used.
2. Bring water to a boil for 5 minutes and let it cool to 40°C, or heat low-mineral water (from a recently opened bottle) to 40°C.
3. Pour the required amount of water into the bottle.
4. Add the correct amount of Novalac powder using the measuring spoon included in the package. Level each measuring spoon with a clean, dry knife without pressing down on the powder.
5. Close the bottle using the hard plastic cap and shake until the powder is completely dissolved, avoiding the formation of lumps. Remove the cap and apply the sterilized teat to the bottle.
6. Let it cool to 37°C. Check the temperature of the bottle by placing a drop of the product on your wrist. Use immediately.

Reconstitution (13%): 1 level, unpressed measuring spoon (4.3 g) for every 30 ml of water.
Use only the measuring spoon provided with the product.
The number of feedings should be adapted to the infant's appetite on the advice of a doctor.

Warnings

Do not prepare the bottle in advance, but always just before feeding.
Each feeding should be consumed within one hour of preparation.
The product should not be reused if it remains in the bottle after feeding. Discard any remaining quantity.
Due to its particular composition, it may be necessary to shake the bottle more frequently during preparation. the bottle compared to the preparation of a classic formula, to obtain the complete dissolution of Novalac Reflux PRO.
The appearance of Novalac Reflux PRO in the bottle may be different from that of a classic formula and the use of a specific teat may be necessary.
The thickened formula of Novalac Reflux PRO may naturally contain small dark particles of vegetable origin (carob seed gum) and/or some white agglomerates of dietary fiber. This Does not cause discomfort in the baby.
Do not use the bottle as a pacifier.
Do not add sugar.
The product is not suitable for parenteral or enteral feeding.

Storage

Do not use after the date indicated on the jar.
Shelf life in intact packaging: 24 months.
After opening, use the product within 3 weeks.
Close the jar after each use with the plastic lid.
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and contamination.
Packaged in a protective atmosphere. The jar, lid, and measuring spoon of Novalac Reflux PRO can be recycled. Dispose of them appropriately.
