Indications

AR is a powdered food for special medical purposes suitable for the specific nutrition of infants from birth to the 6th month of life, as the sole source of nutrition, if they are not breastfed.

From the 6th month onwards and starting from weaning, it must be part of a diversified diet and cannot be used as the sole source of nutrition. Weaning must be started only under the advice of a pediatrician. AR must be used only under medical supervision. AR is a food for special medical purposes for infants indicated for the management of confirmed pathology of the gastroesophageal junction.

Its formulation contains starch, a thickener that increases the viscosity of the product, making it suitable in case of frequent episodes of regurgitation. Plasmon, in agreement with the World Health Organization, supports breastfeeding for at least the first six months of life, and where possible up to two years as a dairy component of the diet.

Ingredients

demineralized whey powder, vegetable oils (high oleic sunflower, rapeseed, sunflower), skimmed milk, starch, maltodextrin, mineral salts (calcium phosphates, calcium carbonate, potassium chloride, sodium chloride, zinc sulfate, magnesium sulfate, ferric pyrophosphate, sodium selenite, cupric sulfate, potassium iodide, manganese sulfate), fish oil (DHA), choline bitartrate, emulsifier: soy lecithin; L-tyrosine, vitamins (vitamin C, vitamin A, niacin, vitamin D, vitamin E, pantothenic acid, biotin, vitamin K, thiamine, vitamin B6, folic acid, riboflavin, vitamin B12), taurine, antioxidants: tocopherol-rich extract, L-ascorbyl palmitate; L-tryptophan, inositol, L-carnitine L-tartrate.
