Indications

Vitamin E is an essential nutrient for humans, with strong antioxidant properties. It is mainly present in fats and its main sources are of plant origin: soybean, olive, hemp and sunflower oils, oily fruits (walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts), sunflower seeds. Fruits and vegetables are also significant sources: spinach, watercress, tomatoes, broccoli. Normally, only 20-40% of the vitamin E ingested through the diet is absorbed; one study revealed that only 21% of the world's population reaches the recommended daily intake (*1). Alpha-tocopherol, thanks to its properties, protects the skin from excessive oxidation induced by sun exposure, particularly in the summer season, delaying skin aging (*2). Vitamin E supplementation may be useful for athletes to reduce the formation of lactic acid and counteract the formation of free radicals that originate after physical exertion (*3).

Main ingredients

• Stabilized rice bran: a very rich source of vitamin E and its isomers, B vitamins, minerals, fiber, and essential fatty acids. Furthermore, it lists as many as 100 different antioxidant compounds (e.g. alpha lipoic acid which recycles vitamins C and E, coenzyme Q10) and superoxide dismutase, an enzyme that intervenes in the neutralization of free radicals.
• Spirulina: an alga extremely rich in amino acids, vitamins and minerals, with a restorative action.
• Sea buckthorn fruits and Acai berries: two plants rich in Vitamin C, essential for the protection of Vitamin E from oxidation and the preservation of its antioxidant properties. They are important sources of vitamins, containing B vitamins and vitamin E. Furthermore, they contain good quantities of omega 7, important for skin health, and other antioxidant substances such as coenzyme Q10.

Directions for use and Dosage

Take 1 capsule per day, preferably with meals.
