Indications

Chirofert is a functional supplement based on D-chiro inositol, alpha lipoic acid, superoxide dismutase, folic acid and manganese, specifically formulated to counteract oxidative stress.
An imbalance in the levels of endogenous antioxidants is the basis of the formation of free radicals.
An excess of the latter leads to the formation of oxidative stress which can can cause alterations in follicular fluid, altered oocyte quality resulting in infertility or subfertility.
Furthermore, high levels of free radicals are present in particular conditions, such as in metabolic syndrome characterized by hyperinsulinemia and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
Chirofert is in trilayer tablets produced using the innovative fast-slow technology, which allows the modulated release (at different times) of the active ingredients contained in the formulation and provides gastro-protection.

Chirofert is useful as an adjuvant:

• In the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome, in metabolic and endocrine disorders related to it (oligomenorrhea, amenorrhea, hirsutism, acne, alterations in glucose metabolism), in conditions of insulin resistance;
• In cases of couple sterility without cause or due to female factor;
• Procreation Medically Assisted (PMA)

Components

• D-Chiro-Inositol (DCI)
  D-chiro-inositol is naturally present in our body, and also in some foods (nuts, legumes, fruit).
  D-chiro-inositol is a fundamental messenger for the transduction of the insulin signal, promoting correct carbohydrate metabolism.
  It can contribute to the regulation of ovulatory and menstrual cycles.
• Alpha Lipoic Acid
  Alpha lipoic acid has direct antioxidant properties and is also able to reactivate and enhance endogenous antioxidant defenses.
• Superoxide Dismutase
  Superoxide dismutase (SOD) is an antioxidant enzyme capable of counteracting the negative effects of free radicals.
• Folic Acid
  Folic acid is a vitamin essential for cell growth and multiplication. It is, in fact, an essential component for the synthesis of DNA, proteins and for the formation of hemoglobin.
• Manganese
  Manganese is an essential micronutrient, widely distributed in the human body, necessary for the metabolism of amino acids, proteins, carbohydrates and lipids.

Chrostor (D-chiro-inositol from Ceratonia siliqua L., fruit); Alpha lipoic acid; Bulking agents: microcrystalline cellulose, calcium carbonate; Anti-caking agents: silicon dioxide (nano), magnesium salts of fatty acids, talc, polyvinylpyrrolidone, cross-linked sodium carboxymethylcellulose, polyvinylpolypyrrolidone; Stabilizer: hydroxypropylmethylcellulose; Manganese carbonate; Superoxide dismutase from carrot (Daucus carota L., root); Colorants: yellow iron oxides, red iron oxides; Folic acid (pteroyl monoglutamic acid).

How to use e Dosage

One tablet in the morning and one in the evening, preferably on an empty stomach.
