Indications
Inositol, commonly and improperly called vitamin B7, is a compound of biological origin structurally similar to glucose (although chemically it is not a sugar). Inositol (unlike vitamins) can be produced autonomously by our body starting from glucose, which does not happen in the case of vitamins properly speaking.
The beneficial effects of inositol on our body are multiple and range in numerous fields:
- by stimulating the production of lecithin, it intervenes in the reduction of blood cholesterol levels;
- it helps the brain in states of anxiety, depression and strong mental stress;
- on the reproductive side, it promotes normal ovarian cycle.

In fact, inositol not only improves female fertility in polycystic ovary syndrome but also stimulates ovulation in other circumstances. The positive effects could also include the prevention of neural tube defects, gestational diabetes, and male fertility.
Directions for use and dosage
