• Red Ginseng is highly regarded in China (in Chinese Ren shen), Korea, and Japan and is used successfully for the following indications: it strengthens the body's defenses, balances the gallbladder, aids convalescence, stimulates the heart, promotes circulation, depression, exhaustion, strengthens, eliminates heavy metals, and increases productivity. Ginseng comes from the mountainous forests of Manchuria and is among the most expensive medicinal plants. Marco Polo already mentioned this prodigious remedy. Wild ginseng is difficult to find and is therefore cultivated. A powder is produced from the sun-dried roots. It is a yang tonic that renews energy in the spleen and lungs. The root soothes the ailments of old age, such as sleep disturbances, stress, and its consequences. The main chemical constituents are triterpene saponins known as ginsenosides, which are chemically derivatives of protopanaxadiol and protopanazetriol. Among these, the ginsenoids Rg1, Rc, Rd, Rb, Rb2, and Rb0 predominate. The drug also contains an essential oil, sugar, and starches. It is not a remedy for a single disease, but a prophylactic substance that specifically increases the body's defense capabilities against various agents and environmental stimuli.

25 drops 3 times a day in a little water.
