What is AlaSod for? Therapeutic indications
This antioxidant and neuroprotective supplement, based on Alpha-Lipoic Acid, Melon Extract titrated in Superoxide Dismutase (SOD), Vitamin E and Selenium, is indicated for combating the action of free radicals and in cases of altered nervous trophism.
In particular, it can be used in case of:
- peripheral neuropathies of toxic, metabolic, viral or ischemic origin;
- canalicular syndromes (carpal and tarsal tunnel syndrome, compression of the ulnar nerve at the elbow);
- sensory/motor radiculopathies (lumbosciatica, lumbocruralgia, cervicobrachialgia, herniated disc).
AlaSod 600 Composition
Alpha-Lipoic Acid (Thioctic Acid); Bulking agents (Calcium Phosphate, Microcrystalline Cellulose); Anti-caking agents (Silicon Dioxide, Magnesium Stearate, Sodium Croscarmellose, Polyvinylpolypyrrolidone, Talc)? Maltodextrins; Stabilizer (Polyvinylpyrrolidone); Glazing agents (Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, Stearic Acid); Emulsifier (Soy Lecithin)? Melon extract (Cucumis melo L., fruit) in hydrogenated palm oil standardized in SOD; Colorants (E101, E171).

Alpha lipoic acid (ALA) is naturally present in our body where it plays an important antioxidant action against free radicals and helps other antioxidants, such as Vitamin C, Vitamin E, coenzyme Q10 and Glutathione to regenerate. Furthermore, Alpha-Lipoic Acid optimizes the body's energy levels and allows cells to function properly.
Superoxide dismutase (SOD) is a metalloenzyme that catalyzes the neutralization reaction of superoxide, the first free radical formed following cellular respiration processes.
Vitamin E and Selenium contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
AlaSod 600 Dosage
It is recommended to take 1 tablet per day.
Side effects
Ala 600 Sod is generally well tolerated.
Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Keep out of reach of children under three years of age. Avoid exposure to heat sources.
