Indications

Siliberina is a supplement consisting of a combination of Berberis aristata (berberine), Fermented red rice (Monascus purpureus), Milk thistle (Sylibum marianum), Ginostemma pentafillum, Policosanols, Astaxanthin, Coenzyme Q10, Chromium, Folic acid, Vitamin E and Vitamin B6.

• Berberine is a plant alkaloid present in the bark, roots and stems, including the underground ones (rhizome), of plants belonging to the Berberis genus which is useful in regulating the functionality of the cardiovascular system due to altered levels of cholesterol and/or triglycerides.
• Fermented red rice, obtained from the fermentation of common cooking rice by a particular yeast, called Monascus purpureus (monakolin) contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels.
• Gynostemma pentafillum is a perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the Cucurbitaceae family, which grows spontaneously in China, Japan, Korea, the islands of Malaysia, and India. It exerts its function on the metabolism of carbohydrates and lipids.
