Indications
Purofem combines lactoferrin and various probiotics resistant to gastric and vaginal pH to support the balance of vaginal and intestinal flora, making it an important ally both against vaginal infections (such as candidiasis and vaginosis) and for intestinal balance, especially during and after antibiotic treatments. Thanks to its formulation, Purofem Döderlein is effective in reducing the proliferation of pathogens and restoring natural defenses against infections, even at the intestinal level. Furthermore, the presence of a protective blister ensures optimal preservation of the lactobacilli, preventing deterioration due to heat and humidity.
The various probiotics present in the supplement act synergistically:
- Lactobacillus crispatus: reduces vaginal pH and hinders the growth of pathogens, preventing infections such as Candida and Gardnerella.
- Saccharomyces boulardii: fights Candida thanks to competition for nutrients and adhesion sites.
- Lactobacillus gasseri: supports digestion and nutrient absorption and protects against pathogens in the intestinal and urogenital tract.
- Lactobacillus rhamnosus: contributes to the well-being of the intestinal microbiota and protects the intestine and vaginal flora, promoting beneficial bacteria such as Bifidobacteria.
Furthermore, lactoferrin helps limit the growth of pathogens by removing iron from them, an essential element for their survival, and supports the immune system thanks to its natural anti-inflammatory action.
