Indications

An unhealthy diet, rich in fatty foods and a sedentary lifestyle, as well as genetic factors, can cause alterations in lipid metabolism and raise cholesterol levels. Phytosterols contribute to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels. The product also contains fermented red rice, which provides 2.76 mg of monacolins per daily dose. Each tablet of phytosterols and red rice contains 500 mg of phytosterols, 29 mg of red rice, and 1.38 mg of monacolins. Made in Italy, gluten-free.

Ingredients

Phytosterols; bulking agent: microcrystalline cellulose; anti-caking agents: magnesium salts of fatty acids, silicon dioxide; stabilizer: cross-linked sodium carboxymethylcellulose; fermented red rice from Monascus purpureus tit. at 4.75% total monacolins; glazing agents: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, fatty acids, microcrystalline cellulose.

Warnings

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age. Supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. The product is not intended for people who do not need to control their blood cholesterol levels. Patients undergoing cholesterol-lowering treatment should consume the product only under medical supervision. This product is nutritionally unsuitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women, and children under 5 years of age. This product should be taken as part of a varied and balanced diet, including regular consumption of fruits and vegetables to help maintain carotenoid levels. The maximum intake of added plant sterols should not exceed 3 g per day. Do not consume a daily amount equal to or greater than 3 mg of Monacolins from red yeast rice. A single dose (2 tablets) contains 2.76 mg of Monacolins. This product should not be consumed by pregnant or breastfeeding women, children under 18 years of age, or adults over 70 years of age. Consult a doctor about the use of this product if you have any health problems. It should not be consumed if you are taking medications to lower cholesterol. It should not be consumed if you are already consuming other products containing red yeast rice. The beneficial effect on cholesterol is obtained with a daily intake of at least 0.8 g of phytosterols.
