Indications
Feverfew by HealthAid® is a supplement formulated with Feverfew extract standardized in 0.2% parthenolides. Tanacetum parthenium supports joint function, the counteracting of localized tension and the counteracting of menstrual cycle disorders.
Feverfew or Tansy (Tanacetum parthenium L. Sch. Bip.) belongs to the Compositae family. It is a perennial plant, native to western Asia and the Balkan Peninsula. The generic name derives from the Latin “tanazita”, in turn derived from the Greek “athanasia” (immortality). It was used in ancient times to treat gynecological problems. Ancient physicians, including Dioscorides and Galen, prescribed "Parthenion" (the Greek name for feverfew) for menstrual problems. Some herbalists recommended feverfew for other ailments, particularly headaches. Its active ingredients include sesquiterpene lactones (parthenolide), sesquiterpenes (camphor, germacrene), monoterpenes, and flavonoids. The flowering part of Tanacetum parthenium is the aerial part.

Directions for use and dosage
