Indications
Nostip Complex is a laxative indicated for the treatment of occasional and chronic constipation in adults, adolescents, and children. It is based on polyethylene glycol (PEG) and psyllium. The combination of these substances, in the presence of liquids, mechanically exerts a laxative effect due to the increase in fecal volume.
The physiological consequence is improved propulsive advancement of softened stools in the colon and facilitated defecation. Preservative-free. Gluten-free.
Directions for use and Dosage
How to take Nostip Complex:
- Adults: 2 sachets per day, preferably morning and evening
- Children and adolescents aged 6 to 14 years: 1 sachet per day
Open a sachet and pour the contents into a glass (200 ml). Fill with still water (still). Stir well for about 10 seconds and drink immediately after diluting the powder. Any increase in consistency of the solution is a characteristic of the product. To obtain optimal results, it is recommended to drink 1-2 glasses of water afterwards. It can be taken at any time of the day, at least half an hour before bedtime. In general, the duration of treatment is about 2 weeks.
If constipation is caused by a disease such as Parkinson's disease or multiple sclerosis, or if you are taking other products that cause constipation, your doctor may recommend taking the product for a longer period than 2 weeks. Generally, in long-term treatment, the dose is 1 sachet per day.
