The Midacardio supplement promotes the maintenance of normal levels of: cholesterol, LDL, triglycerides, and increases HDL. It determines a decrease in blood sugar and protects the vessel wall.
Indications
The Midacardio dietary supplement has a mechanism of action similar to that of statins (statin-like). In particular, thanks to the two flavonoids (hesperetin and narigerin) present in the plant it inhibits:
- the enzyme HMG-CoA-REDUCTASE essential for the synthesis of cholesterol;
- the activity of ACAT (acyl-CoA-acyl-transferase) reducing the esterification of cholesterol and the subsequent assembly of lipoproteins, in particular LDL;
- The activity of PAP (phosphatidic-phosphohydrolase -> key enzyme for the synthesis of triglycerides at the hepatic level) reducing triglycerides.
It increases the activity of AMP-K (activated protein kinase) which increases the absorption of glucose in the muscle and at the hepatic level, causing a drop in blood sugar levels.
The Midacardio protects the vessel wall thanks to bergamot and graviola which, rich in antioxidants, increase the production of nitric oxide at the endothelial level.
