Indications
Melcalin Garlic is a supplement based on Wild Garlic that:
- Promotes the functionality of the cardiovascular system.
- The metabolism of triglycerides and cholesterol.

Melcalin Garlic contains allium ursinum (wild garlic), which has been shown to have cardioprotective activity attributable to various factors such as the reduction of cholesterol and triglyceride levels, the increase in HDL, the reduction of blood pressure and a significant anti-platelet effect.
Most of the studies are aimed at the most Allium sativum has been used, and its effectiveness in improving LDL and HDL cholesterol levels has been documented, making it useful in treating hypercholesterolemia. It is also used as an adjuvant in the treatment of arterial hypertension.
A comparison between the two varieties of garlic revealed that wild garlic is able to affect lipid parameters even at lower concentrations than Allium sativum: this suggests that wild garlic has greater therapeutic benefits than common garlic and therefore the properties of sativum can also be attributed to ursinum but with much greater activity and benefits.
