Indications
MCT Oil is indicated for supportive therapy in cases of:
- Short intestine
- Pancreopathies
- Cystic fibrosis
- Hypercatabolic states (malnutrition, burns, sepsis)
- Lymphedema: improves the composition of the lymph, does not overload the lymphatic system
- Long-chain fatty acid oxidative disorders: LCHAD, VLCAD
- Ketogenic diet based on MCTs, used for the treatment of drug-resistant epilepsy, GLUT-1 deficiency, glutamate deficiency PDHD.
- Chylothorax
- Other diseases that alter the function of the chyliferous vessels

Directions for use
According to medical indications, taking into account the age, weight, and clinical conditions of the patient and that, indicatively, the caloric intake from MCTs should represent approximately 55% of the caloric intake from fats. Normally in fractionated doses of 15-20 ml (3-4 teaspoons).
