Indications

Lipoformula24 is a nutraceutical useful for controlling cholesterol and triglycerides. In particular, fermented red rice with Monascus purpureus (titrated in monacolin K), Annurca apple and bergamot help control cholesterol. Policosanols, triglycerides and niacin help control the HDL/LDL cholesterol ratio. Coenzyme Q10 has an adjuvant function in muscle and tendon well-being. Lipoformula24 contains:

• Oryza Sativa: Monacolin K is a substance produced by the fermentation of Oryza Sativa and reflects the chemical structure and pharmacological action of Lovastatin. Monacolin K from red yeast rice is able to inhibit HMG-CoA reductase, which is a key enzyme in cholesterol biosynthesis: since its plasma levels depend mainly on this biosynthetic pathway, and only to a lesser extent on diet, supplementation with red yeast rice has proven effective in normalizing total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, and triglycerides.
• Coenzyme Q10: People with high blood cholesterol levels tend to have lower than average concentrations of coenzyme Q10. Coenzyme Q10 is an essential cofactor for energy production through the mitochondria: in other words, Q10 allows the cell to breathe. Its use is very useful in preventing myopathy associated with statin treatment, as its biosynthesis is carried out by the enzyme HMG-CoA reductase, the same enzyme that synthesizes cholesterol and is inhibited by statins. Finally, Coenzyme Q10 is also a powerful antioxidant.
• Policosanols: They act by inhibiting hepatic cholesterol synthesis. Policosanols do not block cholesterol formation by inactivating HMG-CoA reductase, but they reduce the number of molecules of this enzyme available for synthesis. They therefore block cholesterol synthesis at a step prior to the formation of mevalonic acid. They are therefore substances capable of significantly reducing total and LDL cholesterol and significantly increasing HDL cholesterol.
• Niacin: Niacin helps lower blood triglyceride and LDL cholesterol levels, raising the HDL fraction.
• Annurca Apple:The Annurca apple is particularly rich in procyanidins, which have been shown to have an important effect in increasing the liver's uptake of LDL proteins, with a consequent reduction in circulating cholesterol. At the same time, these procyanidins increase the hepatic synthesis of HDL proteins, thus increasing the healthy HDL/LDL ratio.
• Bergamot: Bergamot is naturally rich in some antioxidant flavonoids, in particular the molecules naringenin, hesperitin, brutieridin, melitidin, which appear to have the ability to inhibit the enzyme HMG-CoA-Reductase and promote the migration of cholesterol into the bile ducts, promoting its expulsion, with a consequent reduction in its blood level.

Monacolin K (extract of red rice fermented with Monascus purpureus titrated to 5% in monacolin K), Annurca apple (fruit extract), bergamot (fruit extract), Saccharum officinarum (succus extract), niacin, coenzyme Q10; excipients: magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose.

1 tablet per day after dinner.

Warnings

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not take if pregnant or breastfeeding, if you are a child under 18 years of age or an adult over 70 years of age, and in all cases of concomitant therapy with lipid-lowering drugs. Do not take if you are already using products based on red yeast rice. Do not take a daily amount equal to or greater than 3 mg of monacolins from red yeast rice. Consult your doctor before taking this product.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight and direct heat sources. Do not dispose of the container in the environment.
