Indications

Insulipid is a food supplement based on Berberine, Fermented Red Rice, Trans-Resveratrol, Chromium, Q10. Spirulina algae has a supporting and restorative action, Chromium contributes to the normal metabolism of macronutrients and the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels.

Components

• Berberine: has cholesterol-lowering properties and hypoglycemic activity. A scientific study published in Nature in 2014 showed that the lipid-lowering action of berberine (anticholesterol and antitriglyceride) is produced by a completely different mechanism than that of statins, which, as mentioned, inhibit the enzyme HMG-CoA reductase. In fact, treatment with berberine is associated with increased membrane expression of a receptor protein capable of internalizing LDL, which does not involve the enzyme HMG-CoA reductase. • Trans-Resveratrol: has antioxidant and cardioprotective properties. It inhibits some processes that lead to the development of cardiovascular diseases, protects vessels from plaque formation and the proliferation of smooth muscle tissue, stimulates the production of nitric oxide responsible for vasodilation processes, and inhibits platelet activation and aggregation, the first step in the formation of clots that can cause heart attacks and strokes. It lowers total cholesterol levels and reduces circulating fat.
