Indications

Glucartrol Forte is a supplement based on glucosamine sulfate and chondroitin sulfate, physiological principles of our body present in the articular cartilage. Glucosamine is naturally present in the human body and is used for the biosynthesis of hyaluronic acid in synovial fluid and proteoglycans in articular cartilage. Chondroitin sulfate is one of the main building blocks of cartilage where, bound to proteins, it forms proteoglycans, gelatinous-viscous substances that give cartilage its characteristic mechanical-elastic properties. In the presence of degenerative conditions such as arthritic conditions, a metabolic defect in the biosynthesis of glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate and therefore of cartilage proteoglycans occurs, resulting in progressive deterioration of joint function due to cartilage degeneration. The exogenous intake of glucosamine sulfate and chondroitin sulfate has a trophic effect on articular cartilage, compensating for the cartilage deficit, stimulating the synthesis of proteoglycans and thus allowing a halt or slowing of the joint degenerative process that underlies arthritic diseases. Neither glucosamine sulfate nor chondroitin sulfate, considered separately, possess all the specific characteristics of a chondroprotective agent: this occurs instead if their effects are combined by administering them simultaneously.

Ingredients

Filling agent: maltodextrin; sweetener: sorbitol, isomalt; acidifier: citric acid monohydrate; glucosamine sulfate (from crustaceans); bovine chondroitin sulfate; acidity regulator: anhydrous sodium carbonate; flavoring: citrus (orange and lemon juice flavoring; carrier: maltodextrin); sweetener: sucralose.

Directions for use and Dosage

It is recommended to take one sachet per day, preferably after main meals and as needed, dissolving the contents in half a glass of water, stirring well and drinking immediately. It is also recommended to take the product for a period of at least 6 weeks and repeat the intake cycle every 2 months.

Warnings

Keep out of reach of children under three years of age. Do not take the product during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Do not consume after the expiry date. The product contains traces of crustaceans. The product contains polyols; therefore, excessive consumption may have a laxative effect.

Storage

Store in a cool (<25°C), dry place, away from sources of light and heat. The expiry date refers to the product in its intact packaging and stored correctly.
