Indications

D-Mannose is a simple sugar, poorly absorbed by the human body. Taken orally, it is largely eliminated through feces and urine. It has been proposed as a natural remedy against cystitis, as an alternative to antibiotics but without their side effects. Pathogenic bacteria (especially E. Coli) present in the bladder are attracted to D-Mannose, to which they attach themselves using lectins (glycoproteins similar to small tentacles) and are expelled through urine.

Directions for use and Dosage

In an acute attack: 6 capsules per day, divided throughout the day. Once the acute phase has passed, the dosage can be reduced to 3-4 capsules per day. Preferably take away from meals and especially with a little water. Once taken, it is advisable not to urinate for at least 90 minutes to allow D-Mannose to act.

Warnings

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.
