Food supplement useful for controlling cholesterol levels
Indications
Colestvin is a food supplement of plant extracts of Artichoke and Guggul to promote lipid metabolism, with Dandelion and Milk Thistle to support the body's purifying functions. The presence of Monacolin K from red rice contributes to the maintenance of normal cholesterol levels in the blood.
Composition
Dry extracts of: fermented red rice (Monascus Purpureus) titrated at 1.5% in monacolin K, Artichoke (Cynara scolymus L.) leaves, Guggul (Commiphora mukul Hook) resin, Milk Thistle (Silybum marianum (L.) Gaertn) fruits e.s., agent Filler: microcrystalline cellulose, Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale (L.) Weber ex F.H.Wigg.) root e.g., Inositol, Rosemary flavoring, Policosanols, anti-caking agents: magnesium salts of fatty acids, silicon dioxide; Niacin.
Activating constituents according to the spagyric methodology.
Directions for use and Dosage
4 tablets per day, 2 after lunch and 2 after dinner. The beneficial effect is obtained with the daily intake of 10 mg of monacolin K from fermented red rice preparations.
Warnings
Contraindicated in case of known hypersensitivity to one of the constituents. For use of the product, seek medical advice. Do not use during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or if taking lipid-lowering drugs. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
