Red fermented rice has been used for centuries in the Chinese food tradition to promote the well-being of the body, because it is a powerful antioxidant. Coenzyme Q10 is a physiological constituent of our body; it helps fight free radicals and maintain good physical efficiency. Several studies have also shown that people suffering from hypercholesterolemia and/or hypertension tend to have higher Q10 concentrations. lower than average.
