Indications
Colestene is a supplement containing red fermented rice, policosanols, astaxanthin, and folic acid.
Folic acid contributes to normal homocysteine metabolism.
Ingredients
Stabilizer: microcrystalline cellulose; red fermented rice extract with Monascus purpureus titrated in monacolins; anti-caking agents: silicon dioxide, magnesium salts of fatty acids; Biocosanol - policosanols (from sugar cane), oleoresin rich in astaxanthin from Haematococcus pluvialis; firming agent: mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids; pteroyl-monoglutamic acid.

Directions for use and Dosage
We recommend taking 1 tablet per day.
Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age.

Each tablet contains 2.9 mg of monacolins.
Do not take a daily amount of monacolins from red yeast rice equal to or greater than 3 mg.
Colestene should not be taken by pregnant or breastfeeding women, by infants, children and adolescents under 18 years of age, or by adults over 70 years of age.
It is advisable to consult your doctor before using this product.
Colestene should not be taken if you are taking medications to lower cholesterol or if you are already taking other products containing red yeast rice.
