Indications

Colecril is a dietary supplement based on Krill Oil, rich in Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids with astaxanthin, useful for providing a supplemental dose of EPA and DHA to the daily diet.

• Krill Oil: is extracted from Antarctic Krill, a small crustacean. It differs from other marine oils because the Omega-3 fatty acids it contains are bound to phospholipids, which increase their bioavailability. Omega-3s, in combination with phospholipids, play a fundamental role in many processes essential to life. Omega-3s in particular reduce cholesterol, triglyceride, and fibrinogen levels, and lower blood pressure. They are also useful for inflammatory conditions such as arthritis. Astaxanthin, present in this oil, exerts a stronger antioxidant effect than other antioxidants on free radicals that cause ischemia. This molecule protects against cardiovascular damage and can alleviate hypertension by maintaining vessel integrity, improving blood flow, and restoring vascular function. The presence of astaxanthin, in addition to its high antioxidant capacity, creates a natural protection against oxidation of the oil itself.
