Indications
Aminotrofic HDE is a food for special medical purposes indicated for the nutritional management of subjects with protein malnutrition resulting from states of frailty or pathologies accompanied by loss of muscle mass and in sarcopenia. In these situations, essential amino acids, HMB and vitamin D are essential to stop protein loss and improve nutritional status.

Each sachet contains: L-Leucine 1250 mg, Calcium Hydroxymethylbutyrate (HMB) 750 mg, L-Lysine 650 mg, L-Isoleucine 625 mg, L-Valine 625 mg, L-Threonine 350 mg, L-Cystine 150 mg, L-Histidine 150 mg, L-Phenylalanine 100 mg, L-Methionine 50 mg, L-Tyrosine 30 mg, L-Tryptophan 20 mg, Vitamin D (Cholecalciferol) 10 mcg, vitamin B6 0.15 mg, vitamin B1 0.15 mg. Protein 0.00 g; Carbohydrates 1.787 g; Fiber 0.124 g; Fat 0.065 g. Energy: 23.4 Kcal.

Directions for use and Dosage
One or two sachets per day are recommended, depending on the need and the doctor's advice, possibly away from meals to speed up absorption.
Preparation:
Enteral administration
Do not combine Aminotrofic® HDE with other enteral nutrition formulas in the same bag. Rinse the tube with 30 ml of water before and after administering the product. Ensure the tube is positioned correctly before use.
- Pour the contents of one sachet into a glass container suitable for dispersing 100 ml of water at room temperature or slightly warm.
- Mix until the product is completely dispersed.
- Administer the solution using a syringe of at least 60 ml.
- Use preferably immediately after preparation, within 4 hours if stored at room temperature, within 24 hours if stored in the refrigerator.
Oral administration
Pour the contents of one sachet into a glass beaker and add 100/150 ml of water at room temperature; mix until completely dispersed. Consume immediately after preparation.
Warnings
Not for parenteral use. Not intended as the sole source of nutrition. The product is not recommended for children under 3 years of age. Use only under medical supervision. Do not take in case of known or suspected allergy and/or intolerance to one or more ingredients. Keep out of reach of children.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place. The minimum shelf life refers to the product in its intact packaging, stored correctly.
