Product Description

Food supplement useful for the well-being of the microcirculation

Indications

AlbaVEN is a supplement based on diosmin and other elements that is particularly useful in cases of:

  • Acute and chronic venous insufficiency;
  • Lymphedema;
  • Hemorrhoids;
  • Varicocele;
  • Chronic post-phlebitic syndrome;
  • Premenstrual syndrome (water retention);

Ingredients

Diosmin: flavonoid derived from hesperidin that acts as a vasoprotector in all pathologies where there is a deficit in the blood vessel structures, such as venous insufficiency and hemorrhoidal disease, both acute and chronic. This compound acts on the vein walls, reducing their capacitance and stasis and improving their distensibility. This action increases venous return and lymphatic drainage by increasing the frequency and intensity of lymphatic contractions, enhancing the functionality of the lymphatic capillary network. It also acts on the microcirculation level, particularly on the capillaries, increasing resistance and improving the permeability of the venous and lymphatic network.

Melilotus: herbaceous plant whose active substances contained in the leaves and flowering tips of Melilotus Officinalis (flavonoids, tannins and coumarin glucosides) have effects that determine an improvement in both the contractile capacity of the vessels and an increase in the permeability of the venous walls with a clear anti-edema effect in patients suffering from varicose veins, phlebitis, heavy legs, hemorrhoids and cellulite.

Butcher's Broom: molecule extracted from the roots of a plant (Ruscus Aculeatus spp.) with documented protective actions on blood vessels (improved tone of the vessel wall), anti-inflammatory and antithrombotic properties, reduction of heaviness in the lower limbs, improvement of the functionality of the microcirculation through the activation of the receptors α-adrenergic receptors, which give rise to the vasoconstrictor action, resulting in increased venous and lymphatic return. Widely used in the treatment of peripheral vascular disease, varicose veins, edema, hemorrhoids, and premenstrual syndrome (water retention).

Troxerutin: a flavonoid found in tea, coffee, cereals, and many fruits and vegetables. It is part of a group of molecules called rutosides, used in the treatment of edema caused by venous insufficiency. It works by reducing filtration capacity at the capillary level, leading to a reduction in edema, and is effective in preventing inflammation of the venous endothelium, with antithrombotic properties secondary to this action on the wall.

Bromelain: a proteolytic enzyme extracted from pineapple stems with documented anti-inflammatory and anti-edematous effects. Useful in the treatment of post-traumatic inflammatory conditions of soft tissues, in localized inflammation in the presence of edema and in post-operative tissue reactions. It acts through a mechanism capable of increasing the production of prostaglandins with anti-inflammatory activity at the expense of pro-inflammatory ones, avoiding the gastrointestinal damage typical of normal nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID gastropathy).

Ginko Biloba: plant whose extracts represented by terpenes, procyanidins, flavonoids, ginkolides and ginkolides have documented positive effects in vascular disorders (powerful antioxidant action against oxygen free radicals and antithrombotic activity).

Neohesperidin: flavonoid glycoside contained in citrus fruits with antioxidant and phlebotonic activity.

Folic Acid: water-soluble vitamin that intervenes in the cellular synthesis reactions of proteins, DNA, hemoglobin and new cells. Useful in DNA synthesis, repair, and methylation reactions, homocysteine metabolism, and other important biochemical reactions, especially when intense periods of cell division (growth) are involved.
