Directions for use

To ensure optimal effectiveness of Smigol®, it is recommended to carefully follow the following instructions for use and dosage:

Powder Formulation:

• For foals without a swallowing reflex: Prepare a homogeneous suspension by mixing 60 grams of Smigol® with 150 ml of warm water in a suitable container, shaking gradually. Allow to cool and administer orally via nasoesophageal tube.
• General dosage: Administer 60 g (equivalent to two scoops) for every 100 kg of body weight, once daily.
• In case of acute symptoms: Repeat administration every 12 hours. Treatment may vary from one to seven days, or until complete resolution of symptoms. Please note that one measuring spoon contains 30 g of Smigol®.

Oral Paste Formulation:

• Dosage: Administer 1-2 syringes for every 100 kg of body weight, once a day.
• In case of acute diarrhea: Repeat administration every 12 hours. The treatment period can extend from one to seven days, or until complete resolution of symptoms.
