Indications

TheraOftal Ialu is a product capable of supporting the medical treatment of:

• Keratoconjunctivitis sicca: progressive inflammation of the cornea and conjunctiva caused by a deficiency of the aqueous component of the tear film.
• Ciliary disorders: trichiasis and ectopic eyelashes.
• In cats it is indicated as an adjuvant in the treatment of conjunctivitis caused by the Herpesvirus FHV-1.

The cross-linked hyaluronic acid sodium salt, thanks to its reticular structure, guarantees greater hydration and viscoelasticity, high stability of the tear film and remains on the ocular surface for a long time. Carboxymethyl beta-glucan, in addition to increasing the product's lubricating capacity, counteracts oxidative stress from free radicals.

Directions for use and Dosage

1-2 drops in each eye 2-3 times a day for at least 2-3 weeks.
These are usually chronic pathologies, so the duration of therapy is at the veterinarian's discretion.
