Characteristics

Siccostil Cross by Trebifarma is a preservative-free ophthalmic solution, indicated for dogs, cats, non-DPA horses and pet rabbits. Sodium Hyaluronate and the cross-linked form form a viscoelastic and hydrating defensive barrier which, thanks to its properties, provides immediate relief in cases of mild to moderate dry eyes and associated environmental stress.

Composition

Purified water, soy phospholipids (liposomes) 5%, boric acid, sodium chloride, cross-linked sodium hyaluronate 0.15%, sodium tetraborate, disodium edetate.

Directions for use

Remove the safety ring by lifting the tab, remove the bottle cap and hold it between the thumb and forefinger of the dominant hand. Hold the animal's head still by holding its muzzle with your non-dominant hand. Place your dominant hand sideways over the animal's head so that you can gently pull the upper eyelid open with the outer edge of your little finger to facilitate exposure of the eye. Place the bottle over the eye and instill 1-2 drops of the solution into the eye 2-3 times a day, applying light pressure to the body of the bottle. Reward the animal after application.

Warnings

External use only. For veterinary use only. Ophthalmic product for external veterinary use. Avoid touching the eye with the tip of the bottle. Do not use the product after the expiry date shown on the package. Allow 10-15 minutes between instilling Siccostil Cross and any other medications or products for external ophthalmic use. Do not use in case of subjective hypersensitivity or known incompatibility to any component of the preparation. Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Do not dispose of the container in the environment after use.

Storage

Keep away from heat sources, store in a dry place at a temperature between 5 and 35°C. Shelf life with intact packaging: 24 months. Shelf life after opening: 6 months.
