Product Description

Pharmacotherapeutic category: laxative.

Indications

Zetalax Adults, useful for the short-term treatment of occasional constipation.

Does not contain lactose.

Composition

Active ingredients

Adults: glycerol 2.250 g

Excipients

Adults: sodium stearate 0.170 g sodium carbonate 0.060 g.

Directions for use and dosage

Adults and children: 1 suppository per adult as needed or as prescribed by a doctor.

Laxatives should be used as infrequently as possible and for no more than seven days.
Use for longer periods requires a doctor's prescription after adequate evaluation of the individual case.

Warnings

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Laxatives are contraindicated in subjects with acute or unknown abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting, intestinal obstruction or stenosis, rectal bleeding of unknown origin, severe dehydration. Generally contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
