Indications

Vulnamin spray is a medical device intended to promote the restoration of a moist microenvironment in particularly dry wounds, while also assisting the cleansing and granulation phase of uncleansed skin lesions.

Interactive dressing based on sodium hyaluronate and collagen-constituting amino acids, in a fluid gel formulation, designed to promote the formation of granulation tissue and tissue regeneration. It also facilitates wound cleansing. Vulnamin spray protects the integrity of the skin, finding use in the early stages of lesions with a preventive effect on their evolution. In skin lesions of various origins, Vulnamin spray facilitates cleansing and the formation of granulation tissue, and therefore the regeneration of the lesion area. Vulnamin spray also reduces the inflammatory infiltrate and, at the same time, stimulates fibroblasts to produce collagen. The versatile formulation of Vulnamin spray allows its use even in areas that are difficult to reach and particularly painful to touch. Application on skin that is not yet ulcerated but with signs of ulcerative progression promotes the maintenance of a protective microenvironment for the integrity of the skin itself. In the treatment of skin ulcers of various origins, with slowed healing, lesions with medium or low exudate, whether cleansed or colonized, whether flat or cavitary, Vulnamin spray facilitates cleansing and aids the resumption of tissue repair. Do not use on frank infection. In colonized lesions, combine a secondary antibacterial dressing.

Directions for use

Spray Vulnamin spray on the skin affected by pre-ulcerative lesions once or twice a day. Vulnamin spray is also indicated for ulcerative skin lesions without necrosis and infection (red phase). The interval between dressing changes depends essentially on the state of the wound. Dressing changes must be commensurate with wound exudation; we recommend changing every other day or, at most, every three days. Wash and cleanse the wound and spray an adequate amount of product, using the most suitable dressing as a secondary dressing. appropriate to the state of the wound.

Composition

Purified water, sodium hyaluronate, glycine, L-proline, L-leucine, L-lysine HCl, methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate sodium salt, propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate sodium salt, propylene glycol, tetrasodium EDTA.

Warnings

Remove any foreign material from the wound by spraying saline solution from the inside of the wound outwards. Wash your hands thoroughly before applying the dressing. After thoroughly cleaning the area to be treated, gently dab the wound with gauze to remove excess blood. If the wound does not require further intervention, after cleaning the wound, apply Vulnamin spray as described in the instructions for use. It is contraindicated in cases of known hypersensitivity to the components. Overdose is not known. There are no known side effects. There are no known interactions with drugs or medicinal substances. Although no side effects are known in pregnancy and breastfeeding, application should be performed according to your doctor's advice. Vulnamin spray is a product characterized by good tolerability; occasional burning sensations may occur, due to the hypertonicity of the product, which characterizes its cleansing effectiveness. This sensation, however, tends to resolve spontaneously. The expiration date refers to the unopened and correctly stored product. Product intended for external use. Do not use after the expiration date. Do not sterilize. Do not use if the package is opened or damaged. Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to any of the components. The use of desiccants in combination with Vulnamin spray is not recommended. Keep out of reach of children. In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use and consult your doctor.

Storage

Vulnamin spray must be stored at a temperature between 8° and 30°C. Do not refrigerate. Store in a cool, dry place, away from humidity and heat sources.
