Product Description

Active dressing for the specific treatment of slow-healing skin ulcers with medium or heavy exudate, ideal for supporting the tissue regeneration process and promoting healing.

Indications

Vulnamin PWD is a medical device designed for the treatment of skin ulcers that present difficult healing, including cases of ulcers affected by heavy exudation and at different stages of cleansing. Its formulation works by promoting the production of granulation tissue, actively supporting the tissue reconstruction process by strengthening the collagen structure. This stimulates the regeneration of connective tissue, thus helping to restore the integrity of the skin. Vulnamin PWD is useful in the presence of necrotic tissue, facilitating its elimination while protecting the surrounding skin.

The product is indicated for non-infected ulcers, but can be used on colonized lesions if combined with a secondary antibacterial dressing.

Ingredients

Sodium hyaluronate, Glycine, L-Proline, L-Leucine, L-Lysine HCl.

Directions for use and Dosage

Before applying any dressing, wash your hands thoroughly. Remove any foreign material with saline solution. You can dab the wound with sterile gauze to remove any excess blood.

Wash and cleanse the wound. Sprinkle the powder from a stick pack on the wound bed. Use secondary dressings capable of absorbing exudate, avoiding maceration. In the case of particularly extensive lesions, multiple stick packs can be used to cover the affected area.

The frequency of dressing varies between 2 and 3 per week.

Warnings

It is contraindicated in cases of known hypersensitivity to the components. Do not disperse in the environment. It is contraindicated in cases of frank infection. Overdose phenomena are not known. There are no known side effects. There are no known interactions with drugs and medicinal substances. Although there are no known side effects in the case of pregnancy and breastfeeding, it is advisable to apply it only according to the doctor's judgment.

Vulnamin PWD is a product characterized by good tolerability; however, local reactions may rarely occur, due to hypersensitivity phenomena, which are destined to resolve spontaneously. However, it is recommended to consult your doctor in case of concomitant pharmacological treatments and/or for prolonged use beyond six weeks.

Do not use after the expiration date. Do not sterilize. Single-use stick pack - single patient use. Do not save any residual product for separate applications. Dispose of any residual product from an application. Do not use if the package is opened or damaged. Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to the components. In case of adverse reactions, do not repeat the treatment and consult your doctor. Keep out of reach of children.

Storage

Store at a temperature between 8°C and 30°C, in a cool, dry place, away from humidity and heat sources.
