Product Description

Composition

100 g of collodion contain:

Active Ingredients:

SALICYLIC ACID 15 g, LACTIC ACID 15 g.

Excipients:

Urea, glycerin, elastic collodion USP (composed of camphor, castor oil, pyroxylin, ethyl ether, ethyl alcohol).

Therapeutic indications

Treatment of common, plantar and mosaic warts; corns and calluses.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or to any of the excipients.

VERUNEC should not be used by diabetics or patients with impaired blood circulation.

VERUNEC, like all products with a high salicylic acid content, should not be applied to the face or anogenital area.

Dosage

Apply a small amount of product to the affected area twice a day (morning and evening), using the appropriate spatula. Allow to evaporate for a few minutes. VERUNEC leaves a protective film that does not require special care and is easily removed for subsequent applications. Before using the product, it is recommended to soak the application area for about 5 minutes in hot water and, occasionally (2-3 times a week), rub it with an abrasive stone or file. Continue treatment until the callus is completely removed. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Warnings and precautions

The product should not be applied to: seborrheic warts, facial warts, condylomas, skin nevi. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. If the product spills into the eyes or mucous membranes, rinse with water, remove the precipitated collodion, and rinse again with water for 15 minutes. Avoid application to normal skin surrounding the callus. The product is for external use only.

Interactions

Avoid the simultaneous use of other keratolytics to avoid increasing the caustic action of the active substances.

Side effects

Localized irritation may occur if the product is applied to the skin surrounding the hyperkeratotic formation. Normally, irritation should be controlled by temporarily discontinuing the product and applying it only to the affected area when treatment is resumed.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

The safety of use during pregnancy has not been established, therefore the product should be used only if strictly necessary and under the supervision of a doctor.
