Therapeutic indications
Symptomatic treatment of coughs of various kinds.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components or other closely related substances from a chemical point of view.
Dosage
Adults: 1 tablespoon of syrup 4 times a day, or 1 or 2 tablets to be swallowed with a a little water 3 times a day after meals. Children 1 to 4 years: 1 teaspoon of syrup 4 times a day. Children 4 years and older: 2 teaspoons of syrup 4 times a day. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Warnings and precautions
Patients undergoing anticoagulant therapy are advised not to take Tussibron without first consulting their doctor. Tussibron Syrup The product contains sugars. This should be taken into account by diabetic patients and patients following low-calorie diets. Do not use for prolonged treatments. After a short period of treatment without appreciable results, consult your doctor.
Interactions
No particular cases of interactions with other medicinal products have been reported.
Side effects
Gastrointestinal disorders with nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea have been reported rarely.
