Indications

Revamil® Melginate is a dressing indicated for exuding wounds, composed of natural calcium alginate fibers combined with Revamil® pure honey rich in enzymes.

Revamil® Melginate, applied to exuding wounds, absorbs the fluid, gelling rapidly and subsequently facilitating complete removal of the dressing without leaving residue on the wound.

The gel formed by the alginate in combination with honey at pH 3.5 develops a strong antibacterial action, keeping the wound environment moist. Thanks to the absorption of fluids, the periwound skin is protected from maceration.
