Specific medical device to soften stools and promote their elimination. Based on Macrogol 4000 with laxative action, it dissolves in any drink.

Indications

Onligol Macrogol 4000 is an osmotic laxative particularly indicated for the treatment of recurrent constipation.
The ingredient of Onligol Macrogol 4000 is the macrogol 4000 molecule.
The molecule binds to the water already present inside the intestinal cavity and hydrates the stool, increasing its volume and making it softer and easier to expel.
Onligol Macrogol 4000 is neither absorbed nor dissolved. Metabolized by intestinal bacteria. Since it is not absorbed, its action occurs locally, combating constipation without affecting the body's electrolyte balance.
It contains no excipients, flavorings, or sugars. It can be dissolved in any beverage: e.g., tea, herbal teas, milk, broth, or fruit juice.

Directions for use

Dissolve Onligol by mixing the powder in any beverage. The contents of one sachet
(10 g) should be dissolved in at least 125 ml (increase to 150 ml for children) of any beverage, even hot, such as tea, herbal teas, milk, broth, or fruit juice. Onligol does not alter the taste of the
beverage. Drink the reconstituted solution. It is recommended to take Onligol away from meals.

Dosages (unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor):
Onligol allows for wide flexibility in dosage.

Adults and children weighing more than 20 kg (11 years):
The dose is 10 g (1 sachet), 1-3 times a day, according to individual response. To obtain
a more rapid effect, the maximum daily dose (30 g) can be taken in a single administration. In case of prolonged use, the dose can be reduced to 10 g (1 sachet) 1-2 times
a day, even every other day, preferably in the evening.

Children up to 20 kg (11 years):
The dosage should be commensurate with body weight. We therefore recommend using the 200 g bottle of powder with a measuring spoon that allows you to customize the dose according to the child's actual needs until soft stools are obtained. Do not exceed the maximum daily dose of 30 g.

Warnings

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age.
Do not take Onligol in case of: known hypersensitivity to macrogol; gastrointestinal perforation and/or obstruction.
During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the product must be used under medical prescription.

Side effects

Occasionally, abdominal distension and/or nausea may occur, which resolve with continued use.
Rare cases of allergic reactions (rash, urticaria): in this case, discontinue use of the product and inform your doctor or pharmacist.

Overdose

Diarrhea may occur, which resolves spontaneously upon discontinuation of the product.
