Indications

Melilax is indicated for the treatment of constipation, even in the presence of visceral hypersensitivity (such as irritable bowel syndrome), anal fissures, and hemorrhoids.
The product clears the intestines, has a protective effect, and consequently reduces the discomfort, irritation, and inflammation present in constipation. Melilax is also suitable for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Melilax combines an evacuative action with a protective and consequently soothing action on the rectal mucosa. The double action of Melilax is obtained thanks to PROMELAXIN®, a complex of nectar and honeydew honeys specially selected and processed based on their content of monosaccharides, polysaccharides and melanoidins, enriched with the polysaccharide fraction from Aloe and Mallow.
Melilax has an evacuating action that induces a stimulus to activate defecation.

Furthermore, Melilax, thanks to its muco-like properties and its viscosity, protects the rectal mucosa during the passage of feces.
These particular properties, combined with the antioxidant action, give the product the ability to protect and consequently soothe the mucosa.

How to use

• Open the micro-enema by removing the cannula cover
• Grasp the white round ring on the above the bellows, with the other hand, bend the cannula cover until it breaks and comes completely away from the ring.
• Remove the cannula cover.
• Apply a few drops of product to the perianal area and gently insert the cannula into the rectum.
• Press the microenema firmly and, once the application is complete, keep it pressed until the cannula is completely extracted, to avoid the product being re-aspirated.

Warnings

Do not use if you have hypersensitivity or allergy to one or more components. In case of persistent constipation, it is important to consult your doctor to rule out other pathologies.
The microenema is for single use only; therefore, it should not be reused if half the dose is administered, as in the case of infants.
Store at room temperature, away from heat sources and protected from light. Keep out of reach of children. The expiration date refers to the intact and properly stored product.
