Indications

Isypan Stitichezza is a Medical Device containing Macrogol 4000, an osmotic laxative.
Isypan Stitichezza has a high capacity to rehydrate and soften hard stools, facilitating evacuation and providing a feeling of relief.
It has a physical mechanism of action and carries out its action in a delicate way: it is not absorbed by the body, is eliminated in an unchanged form and does not give rise to the production of gas.
It can It can be taken in the case of occasionally irregular bowel movements and is particularly indicated for chronic constipation.
It is suitable for children aged 2 years and over, the elderly, and celiacs.
Its regulating function is supported by a healthy lifestyle and a correct diet, rich in fiber, fruit, and vegetables, with adequate fluid intake and good physical activity.
It contains no flavorings, sugar, or electrolytes.

It contains no electrolytes, excipients, sweeteners, flavorings, sugars, preservatives, or gluten.

Directions for use and Dosage

Isypan Stitichezza can be used from the age of 2 years and up.
Isypan Stitichezza manifests its effectiveness 48 hours after taking it and can be used for 2 weeks. It can be used for treatments lasting up to 30 days.
Its formulation containing only macrogol 4000 makes it suitable for patients who require a low-sodium, galactose-free, and gluten-free diet.
It should be diluted with a beverage of your choice, cold or hot (about 150 ml): for example, a glass of water, fruit juice, tea, or even milk, stirring until a homogeneous solution is obtained.
The absence of flavorings and sweeteners does not alter the flavor of the drink.
Drink the solution as is. reconstituted.
The product is for single use only; do not use partially or already opened sachets.
Do not use the device in a way other than that indicated by the manufacturer.

  • Adults: The appropriate dose is the minimum sufficient to produce regular evacuation of soft stools and must be adapted based on the effects observed.
    It varies from 1 sachet every other day (particularly for pediatric use) up to 2 sachets per day.
    When regular defecation is achieved, the dosage should be reduced to 1 sachet per day or every other day.
    The maximum daily dose can reach 20 g and can be increased to 10 g. be taken in a single administration.
    Do not exceed the maximum daily dose of 20 g.
  • Children: for patients aged 2 years and over, the recommended dose is 0.7 g/kg.
    Up to 20 kg of weight, the dosage should be commensurate with body weight according to the doctor's instructions.

Warnings

Do not take Isypan Constipation in case of hypersensitivity to macrogol 4000 and gastrointestinal perforation and/or obstruction.
If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking Isypan Constipation.
As with all laxatives, the presence of organic disorders must be excluded before starting treatment.
Isypan Constipation may cause constipation. Isypan Constipation can be taken for prolonged periods, but if the symptoms persist despite associated dietary measures, a doctor's opinion is necessary to exclude underlying pathologies.
There are no adequate and well-controlled studies, therefore do not take Isypan Constipation during pregnancy and/or breastfeeding.
Do not take concomitantly with oral medications.
Excessive doses of Isypan Constipation can cause diarrhea, abdominal pain, abdominal distension and vomiting, which resolve when treatment is stopped or the dose is reduced.

Do not take a double dose of Isypan Constipation to make up for a forgotten dose.
Keep out of reach of children.
Possible side effects reported in adults and children: diarrhea, abdominal pain, abdominal distension, nausea, vomiting, fecal incontinence and flatulence.
