Indications

Intrasite gel is a dressing capable of absorbing fibrinous tissue and excess exudate, creating a moist environment during the granulation and epithelialization phase, promoting healing. It is a colorless amorphous hydrogel, made of a polymer of modified carboxymethylcellulose, propylene glycol and water. The exclusive Applipack dispenser makes application simple, directional and controllable even in hard-to-reach sites. It does not stick to the wound and can be easily removed. be removed by washing withsaline solution without damaging fragile tissue or causing pain.

Directions for use and Dosage

It is recommended for use for the removal of non-viable tissue in the treatment of superficial and deep open wounds that heal by secondary intention such as:

• Venous ulcers of the lower limbs;
• Diabetic foot ulcers;
• Surgical wounds;
• Pressure ulcers;
• Radiation injuries;
• Burns;
• Fistulas;
• Amputations;
• Pathologically hyperproliferating malignant ulcers.

Warnings

Do not use if you have a known sensitivity to IntraSite Gel or any of its components. IntraSite Gel should be used with caution near the eyes and in deep wounds with fistulas, where removal of the gel is difficult. IntraSite Gel is for external use only. It can be used on infected wounds under medical supervision.
