Medical device for earwax removal.
Ceruxil Ear Drops is a medical device for the mechanical removal and rapid dissolution of earwax based on sweet almond oil, dimethylbenzene, 2-phenoxyethanol, and ethylhexylglycerin.
The contents of a dropper are poured into the ear canal after tilting the head. The subject must remain in this position for five to ten minutes and massage the tragus and pull downward on the treated earlobe. The ear is then rinsed with warm water. For hard plugs, instillations are performed two or three times a day and the treatment should be continued for three to five days depending on the quantity of earwax to be extracted.
