Celmast Nasal Spray Children is a nasal spray for the treatment of vasomotor rhinitis and rhinosinusitis, both allergic and non-allergic, which protects the respiratory mucosa and promotes tissue repair.
Indications
Nasal spray indicated for non-allergic cell-mediated vasomotor rhinitis and rhinosinusitis (Narne, Nares, Narma, and Naresma), mild to moderate allergic vasomotor rhinitis and rhinosinusitis (Ige-mediated), as well as for children with mild to moderate vasomotor rhinitis and rhinosinusitis. in patients undergoing Fess (Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery) surgery, to create a protective effect on the respiratory mucosa and promote anatomical and functional tissue repair.
It is useful in the treatment of the vasomotor rhinitis and rhinosinusitis listed above when watery rhinorrhea is present associated with one or more of the following symptoms:
- sneezing (even when sneezing blankly);
- stuffy nose in both nostrils;
- nasal itching;
- conjunctivitis with red or itchy eyes.
Celmast protects the respiratory mucosa through the barrier effect provided by high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid, promoting tissue repair. Furthermore, it has a protective action on the mast cells by reducing their reactivity. sensitized and decreases the production and migration of eosinophils and neutrophils responsible for inflammation, mucosal damage, and the onset of the symptoms described above.
Composition
Functional ingredients: 0.3% sodium hyaluronate 350-1,150 kDa (hyaluronic acid sodium salt), palmitoylethanolamide.
Excipients: purified water (FU), ethyl alcohol, mint flavoring, eucalyptol, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, polysorbate 80, sodium chloride, monosodium sodium phosphate dihydrate (or citric acid monohydrate), disodium sodium phosphate dodecahydrate (or sodium citrate dihydrate).

For children (3-12 years):
- Nasal spray: 1 or 2 sprays per nostril twice daily (morning and evening). Minimum duration: at least 10 days; can be extended up to 20 days per month for three consecutive months.
For nasal spray (children and adults)
- Blow your nose to remove mucus or debris to allow the product to effectively reach the nasal areas.
- Shake before use.
- Remove the safety cap and the spray nozzle.
- Prime the pump by pressing 2-3 times until it fills. A regular mist is obtained.
- Gently insert the nozzle into one nostril, keeping your head upright and tilted slightly forward.
- Press the spray once while slowly inhaling through your nose.
- Repeat in the other nostril following the same procedure.
Note: Do not exhale or blow your nose immediately after application to avoid dispersing the product (wait 10-15 minutes). Use in children must be supervised or assisted by an adult.
Warnings
- Perform all administration operations gently, avoiding inserting the nozzle tip too deeply into the nostrils and maintaining an upright position during use.
- Close the bottle tightly after each application.

Contraindications

Side effects
The most frequent effects are:
- Burning in the nostrils immediately after administration.

Overdose
