Product Description

Nasal aspirator with disposable filters indicated for removing nasal secretions in cases of the common cold, rhinopharyngitis, acute rhinitis, rhinosinusitis, and bronchiolitis.

Indications

Newborns and children breathe instinctively through their nose, so it is important to keep their airways clear. The Libenar nasal aspirator gently relieves a child's congested nose to help them breathe better in cases of colds and rhinopharyngitis. Its soft tip adapts to the child's nose and gently removes excess mucus.
Use as often as necessary for nasal secretions. For better removal of nasal secretions, use Libenar vials or Libenar Sea Water Nasal Hygiene Spray before nasal suctioning.

Warnings

It is recommended to seek the advice of a doctor/healthcare professional before using the Libenar nasal aspirator on infants, in case of congenital nasal defects, in case of recent nasal surgery or nasal injury.

Choking hazard due to the presence of small parts. Keep out of the reach and sight of infants and children. Refer to the package leaflet.
If symptoms persist for more than 5 days, consult a healthcare professional. Do not sterilize, do not boil. Do not use after the expiration date. Do not use the device if its original appearance has been altered or without a disposable filter.

Directions for use and Dosage

1. Before first use, rinse the device under warm water and dry it thoroughly.
2. Perform nasal suction before feeding, when the baby is awake and calm.
3. Wash your hands. Insert a disposable filter into the back shell and close the device with the front shell.
4. Make sure all components are assembled correctly.
5. Lay the baby on his or her back.
6. Place the soft tip of the nasal aspirator at the entrance of the baby's nostril and gently inhale through the mouthpiece. The mucus is stopped by the protective filter.
7. Repeat in the other nostril.
8. Gently lift the child and clean his nose with a tissue.
9. After each use, rinse the Libenar nasal aspirator with warm water and dry it thoroughly.

For hygiene reasons and to ensure correct use, insert a new disposable filter before each use.

Shelf life in the intact package: 36 months.
