Breast milk is the ideal food for infants, and breastfeeding should continue as long as possible. If breastfeeding is completely or partially lacking, consult your pediatrician before choosing a formula.
Nestlé Nidina Ac-As is a complete formula and can be used as the sole source of nutrition for infants from birth to 6 months, when not breastfed. Nestlé Nidina Ac-As must be used under medical supervision.
It should not be used in cases of known or suspected allergy to cow's milk proteins, galactosemia, congenital lactose intolerance, galactokinase deficiency, glucose-galactose malabsorption, or maltose intolerance. Do not administer parenterally.
Prepare only one bottle at a time. Prepare the milk only at feeding time and consume it immediately. Never store leftover milk in the bottle. Check the temperature of the milk before administering it. Never leave an infant unattended during feeding to avoid choking. Follow the instructions exactly. Using unboiled water or bottles, incorrect reconstitution, storage, handling, preparation, or administration may pose a health risk to the infant.
Store in a cool, dry place.
Shelf life in unopened packaging: 18 months.
Shelf life after opening: 4 weeks.
