Indications
Buona Respiro is a pleasant-tasting syrup useful for respiratory tract health in children aged 1 year and older. Its formulation, based on plant extracts (ivy, grindelia, blackcurrant) and honey, makes it suitable for treating both dry and productive coughs, as a symptom of inflammatory processes resulting from colds, flu-like conditions, and pharyngitis. Thanks to the protective action of honey on the oropharyngeal mucosa and the presence of resins, polysaccharides, mucilages, and flavonoids, contained in plant extracts, Buona Respiro Syrup is effective in cases of:
- Dry cough, because it promotes the formation of a film on the oropharyngeal mucosa, increasing its hydration, lubrication, protection from external irritants, and reducing rubbing in the pharynx, which causes coughing;
- Proactive cough, because it promotes the removal of mucus, with an emollient and fluidifying effect.
Its formula is enriched with honey and apple juice, which give the syrup a flavor particularly pleasing to children.
Composition
Buona Respiro Syrup is a preparation made from plant extracts:
- extract Blackcurrant (Ribes Nigrum L.) dry leaves standardized to 1% rutin; Dry extract of Grindelia (Grindelia robusta Nuttall) flowering tops standardized to 0.25% hyperoside; Dry extract of Ivy (Hedera helix L.) aerial parts standardized to 10% hederacoside C.
Buona Respiro also contains concentrated apple juice and honey. Gluten and lactose-free.
Directions for use and dosage
- Children 1 to 3 years: 5 ml up to 2 times daily.
- Children over 3 years: 5 ml up to 4 times daily.
