MAD Nasal is a device used in pre-hospital and emergency rooms for the administration of anesthetics, anticonvulsants, and painkillers via the intranasal route.
Thanks to its soft conical adapter, it guarantees a seal on the nostril and adapts ergonomically to the nostrils of adults and children.
The malleable probe allows for 180° positioning; of the conical adapter.
It is indicated for use by a single patient, but can be used multiple times. times.
For this reason, it is very important to carefully clean the device after each use to ensure its durability and proper functioning.
Wash MAD Nasal under warm running water.
Before storing MAD Nasal, dry it thoroughly with a soft cloth or with a jet of hot air.
Directions for use and Dosage
Disconnect the MAD Nasal device by unscrewing it from the supplied syringe.
Open the single-dose Aluneb vial by rotating the flaps.
Connect the vial to the syringe and aspirate half of the solution contained in the vial.
Secure the MAD Nasal by screwing it onto the syringe.
Insert the tip of the MAD Nasal into one nostril. Keep your torso upright. Push the syringe plunger firmly to nebulize the solution.
Repeat steps 3 to 5 for the other nostril.
