Alfaré is a powdered food for newborns and infants allergic to milk proteins.

Indications

Alfaré is a hypoallergenic powdered food for infants and infants with cow's milk protein allergy (CMPA) in the presence of intestinal problems.

Alfaré is a food for special medical purposes.
Particularly suitable for the feeding of infants and infants with cow's milk protein allergy and gastrointestinal disorders, who therefore require a hypoallergenic and highly digestible product.
The product contains extensively hydrolyzed whey proteins and can represent the sole nutritional source for children up to six months of age.

The main characteristic of the peptide blend is its hypoallergenicity and high digestibility. Thanks to the presence of MCT (highly digestible medium-chain fatty acids) equal to 40% of the fats, Alfaré is suitable for the management of some gastrointestinal pathologies, such as:

• Acute and chronic diarrhea.
• Allergy to cow's milk proteins.
• Post-surgical intestinal syndromes or debilitating pathologies.
• Cystic fibrosis, celiac disease, inflammatory bowel diseases.
• Re-feeding after necrotizing enterocolitis.
• Enteral feeding and/or weaning from total parenteral nutrition.

The product provides 5.01 Kcal per gram, distributed as follows: proteins 12%, carbohydrates 45% and lipids 43%.
Before using Alfaré It is always best to consult your pediatrician, who will also provide instructions on the doses to administer, which, remember, are established based on the child's age and weight.
The presence of traces of lactose makes it inadvisable for use in cases of galactosemia.
