Food supplement for the well-being of visual function.
Indications
Vitreex Eye is a supplement based on Potassium and Magnesium, Vitamin C and B12 with Amino Acids, L-Carnitine, Hyaluronic Acid and Hydrolyzed Collagen indicated to provide a supplementary intake of these nutrients in case of deficiencies or increased needs.
Vitreex Eye is composed of:
- Vitamin C: Essential for the anatomical and functional integrity of various structures of mesenchymal origin (connective tissue, collagen, vitreous) acting as a biological depolymerizer of hyaluronic acid ensuring its replacement.
- Vitamin B12: This class of vitamins are Essential in all tissue repair processes as they are the main enzymatic cofactors in the metabolic pathways for cellular energy production. They contribute to the maintenance of normal vision and the protection of cells from oxidative stress, normal energy metabolism, and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
- Potassium: is an essential mineral essential for the conservation of fluids in cells as it intervenes in their water-salt balance. This mineral acts synergistically with magnesium according to stoichiometric ratios, therefore it is recommended to administer the two minerals simultaneously.
- Magnesium: activates a wide variety of enzymes and participates in the stabilization of molecules, maintaining the good condition of the connective tissues, including the vitreous body.
- Hydrolyzed collagen: is the main component of our body's connective tissue, which also includes the vitreous body. Hydrolyzed collagen is made up of peptides, short chains of amino acids, particularly rich in glycine. This small amino acid is essential for ensuring the integrity and hydration of the connective tissue, being its main component.
- Hyaluronic acid: From a chemical point of view, hyaluronic acid is classified as a glucosaminoglycan; The molecule is in fact composed of long repeating sequences of two simple sugars: glucuronic acid and N-acetylglucosamine. Its high solubility in aqueous environments is important for ensuring tissue hydration while protecting them from excessive tension and stress. At the same time, its high affinity for other hyaluronic acid molecules and other components of the extracellular matrix allows for the formation of a dense and intricate network of high molecular weight. Also present in many animals and in some types of bacteria, hyaluronic acid is one of the main components of connective tissue, in particular its amorphous substance (or ground substance, a gel – like the vitreous – compact in which collagen and elastin fibers are immersed).
- L-Carnitine: In addition to being ingested with the diet, it is also synthesized in the liver and kidneys from two amino acids (methionine and lysine in the presence of some cofactors such as B vitamins). Amino acids such as lysine, arginine, carnitine: useful for the production of energy by cells. Correct formation of collagen present in the vitreous body.
- L-Arginine: is an amino acid that plays a fundamental role in maintaining homeostasis and the body's functions. Arginine has multiple actions, which is precisely why it is so important biologically. Among these, it is crucial as a precursor to nitric oxide for the many functions it performs in cellular activity, in the transduction of biological signals, and in immune defense, but above all in its vasodilatory action on the epithelium of blood vessels. Consequently, this leads to a greater flow of blood and therefore of oxygen and nutrients to the tissues themselves.
- L-Lysine and L-Glycine: are essential amino acids found in many dietary sources. L-Lysine is essential in tissue repair processes, in fact, it stimulates the formation of collagen (present in the vitreous gel) and tissue healing. L-Glycine is an amino acid that makes up about a third of collagen, so it is essential to take this amino acid to restore the correct trophism of these tissues.
